Go Forth and Eat Cake

This absolutely adorable bunny is from the Forget About the Cake set from The Cat's Pajama's rubber stamps.  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out with a Nestabilites die. I added some paper from My Mind's Eye--I would love to tell you the name of the particular collection, but for the life of me I can't remember. No that is not a sign I might have too much paper--don't even think such a thing!!!
Anyways, I finished the card off with some solid card stock in my two favorite colors--pink and green and then added some twine and a little heart shaped button.
Hope you have a great weekend, thanks for popping by!

Flippin Fabulous

This is a new Fred Bear stamp from MFT. I swear he just keeps getting cuter and cuter! I colored him with copics and then added some sparkle to his hat and grill with glitter pens. The patterned paper is more from the October Afternoon Campfire pad. I picked this pad up at Archiver's when I was in Omaha in July--boy am I glad that I did, it is my go to paper this week!
I used the seeing spots embossing folder on the blue card stock and added some twine and a button to finish it off.

I stamped the sentiment on the inside and layered more plaid patterned paper that was used on the front. Sure hope the lucky recipient (AKA Mom) thinks it is truly flipping' fabulous!
Thanks for stopping by!

Head in the clouds

I am hoping to finally be back posting on my blog on a much more regular basis.
This image is one of the newest ones from The Cat's Pajamas! Isn't he cute? I colored the image with copies and then added some sparkle with a glitter pen to the propeller and exhaust. Instead of coloring the bunny a solid brown I just highlighted the edges and blended.
The patterned paper is from October Afternoon's Campfire pad. I ran the kraft through my crimper and then used a die for the fold lines on the brown card stock. The cloud is actually cut from a TCP cloud border die. The buttons are from my stash!

I used the same patterned paper on the inside and used the rest of the cloud border die as well. The sentiment is from the stamp set and was cut out with a Wonky Square Nestabilities die.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
