Peekaboo

I cracked up as soon as I saw this image on MFT. It instantly reminded my of playing peek a boo with my youngest daughter! She is adorable, I love the little flower in her hair. I colored her with copics and then double layered the image. Added some new patterned paper from Lily Bee and some embossed teal cardstock. Finished it off with some polka dot ribbon!

My Little Friend Thank You

This is one of the gnomes included in the My Little Friend stamp set from There She Goes! He looks so darn cute holding that big flower! I wanted to keep this pretty clean and simple so I colored him with copics and then simply added some embossed cardstock and just one patterned paper.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment and then cut it with a Nestabilities die. Added some more of the embossed cardstock and the patterned paper from the card front and called it done!

Thanks a Bunch

This handsome fellow is from Anita Be Stampin! Isn't he just the cutest? I colored him with copics and then layered the image onto some teal cardstock. The patterned paper was laying on my desk and I am not sure of the manufacturer. I ran the spice cardstock through my cuttlebug with the polka dot embossing folder. Finished it off with some twine and an orange button!

Hello My Friend

I love this stamp set from There She Goes! I colored it with copics added just a little sparkle to the flowers with my spica glitter pens. The red scallops were cut with a Sizzix die. I added some patterned paper and ribbon. The sentiment is included in the stamp set and I simply flagged the ends by hand.

Cuppie Birthday

This cupcake covered card is for my granddaughter's birthday. I can't believe she is celebrating another birthday already. Time really does fly!
The stamp is Sweet Friends from Taylored Expressions. I simply stamped all the cupcakes, colored them with copics and then added a pink rhinestone for the cherry on top! I used some patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy Tickled Pink collection. I love the pinks and blues in the stack and think it goes perfectly with the chocolate cupcakes!
Not sure why I don't make more cards this size, I like how this one turned out.

Happy Easter!

This is my last Easter project this year. A simple card for my Mom. I absolutely love the Hello Spring set from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the sheep and the hilltop and then colored it with copics. I cut a light purple scallop circle with my Nestabilities die and then cut the bottom of the circle off. I layered the image onto some green checked patterned paper. I ran the deep purple piece through my cuttlebug with the polka dots folder.

To add some dimension I cut the strips of grass with a die and then layered the strips onto the card using pop dots.

I hope you all enjoy your Easter holiday.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

My Little Friend

I absolutely love this new stamp set from There She Goes! Cute little houses and gnomes and some of the funniest sayings! I am relatively new to TSG but I have definitely added them to my list of favs!

I decided to try out the TSG challenge, this week it is round and round. The card base has to be round or oval. I was a little concerned at first, but after my first successful attempt I will definitely be making more round shaped cards! I colored the adorable little mushroom house with copics and then added some patterned paper as well as pieces of colored cardstock to the front. The yellow I ran through my cuttlebug with a polka dot folder and the brown is actually the negative space from the picket fence die! I added different colors and textures to add depth to an otherwise small space. I Love how the picket fence finishes it off; I used some pop dots to add dimension (hard to tell in the photo). I stamped the welcome gnome in brown ink and then added a green rhinestone to finish it off!

Easter candy tins

I have been working on some more of the candy tins for my nieces and nephew for Easter. I used the Easter Joy and Welcome Spring stamp sets from Taylored Expressions.

I stamped the images and then colored with copics. Used some Nestabilties to cut the images out and layer. Added some detail with a border punch along the bottom of each. I added ribbon and baker's twine to attach a tag to each. Can't wait to get them filled with candy and mailed! Honestly I have bought candy twice to fill them, but it never makes it in the tins!

***I have had several people ask where I got the tins. I purchased them from Specialty Bottle. Please let me know if you have other questions. Thanks again!***

Bunny Basket

Been crazy busy around here lately-hence the reason for my absence last week. Had lots going on with the family and baseball season started-I am slowly learning the game and actually really enjoying it! Helps when the Phillies start out with a 3-0 sweep of the Astros!

This super simple basket was made using my Cricut. I cut the bunnies from the Doodlecharms cartridge. I made a box out of matching white cardstock and attached the bunnies to the front and back. The nose and mouth were also cut with the Cricut; I added highlights with a white gel pen and some chalk and then used a brown ink pad around the edges. I used some beads from my daughter's collection and added a pink gingham bow for the handle.
