I Spy Sketches

This is my first attempt at the I Spy Sketches challenge. I pulled out a set that hasn't seen ink in a looong time. The chef is from Inky Antics Garnishing Chefs set. Isn't he adorable? For some reason every time I look at him I hear a thick Italian accent in my head!
I colored him with copics and added a little sparkle with a glitter pen. After I finished coloring and layering the image I set out to make the background. I used my new Spellbinders Square Swatches die for the patterned paper and then cut the white, black, and grey squares on my trimmer. The red check paper is from my Simple Stories Summer Fresh pad and the black polka dot is from Jenni Bowlin called Haven. I added a flag banner with the sentiment and a red button tied with twine to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so much for stopping by and your comment on the debate! {I normally don't leave a comment in lieu of just emailing directly, but your email isn't linked to your profile and I didn't see one on your blog} I'm going to have to do some googling about the Obamaphone thing, I hadn't even heard of it!
