Happy Birthday!

Now that the holidays are over I have a stack of thank you cards as well as a couple of birthday cards to work on. This little cake cutie is from The Greeting Farm, called Birthday Anya. I kept this card pretty clean and simple--a new look for me, but I like the final result. I colored Anya with copics and then added a little sparkle to her headband and cake with spica glitter pens. I used a Sizzix Christmas Six embossing folder on the aqua card stock. (I saw Jen Del Muro use it and loved it!) No patterned paper this time--strange for me I know but I think the solid card stock worked.
Thanks for stopping by!

Another Confirmation thank you

I used the Spotlight stamp set again on this second thank you card. I colored the image with Copics and layered it on a large scallop rectangle made of foam. I have seen foam appearing on other cards and handmade projects and like the added dimension it gives. It was easy to cut with a Nestabilities die in my Cuttlebug. I layered it with some patterned paper from the DCWV Songbird collection.

Confirmation thank you

My youngest daughter celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation over the weekend. I made a few thank you cards for her to send out for gifts received from family and friends.
This stamp is from The Greeting Farm, it is a set called Spotlight and I love it. Used copics to color her in, a large scallop nestabilities die and a Fiskars border bunch. Patterned paper is My Mind's Eye Home.

Big Sister Card

In yesterday's post I showed a card I made celebrating the arrival of our new niece Camryn. Camryn was welcomed home by her big sister Delaney. I couldn't send a card for one of the girls and not the other so I made Delaney a card celebrating her new status as the big sister. I tucked a couple of sheets of stickers inside because everyone knows little girls love stickers, don't they?
Recipe:
Stamp is from The Greeting Farm (she looks like a big sister doesn't she?)
Colored with Copic Markers
Patterned paper is DCWV Songbird
Solid cardstock Bazzill
Sizzix embossing folder
Nestabilities Large Scallop die
